HeliX Battery is used to store and cool fish coming from bleeding department or harvest boat. A HeliX battery can be dimensioned to receive all fish from a well boat/harvest vessel for quick unloading and thereby allow the vessel to leave to get more fish. This way the gutting department can get fish from the HeliX battery as they need for the rest of the day.
A HeliX battery may also be used for maintenance cooling and buffer for fish going to filleting or as maturation tank before post rigor fileting.
